Lipa Hussain

Lipa Hussain is a Scottish based filmmaker who previously wrote and directed her debut short film Press Key Five commissioned by GMAC Films and Screen Scotland. The film also won best drama at Ealing Film Festival in 2022. Whilst she is still early in her filmmaking journey, she has found a lot of joy in telling stories that provoke discussion and emotion. She hopes to continue telling stories that matter and using filmmaking as an outlet to do so. Roll Down the Window is her first venture into the experimental documentary genre.

Katie is an Edinburgh-based producer managing diverse projects such as brand online content, short films and television. As a VT producer on BBC Scotland's A View from the Terrace, she travels Scotland finding emotive stories in the world of Scottish football. Katie further pursues her passion for storytelling by working on captivating short films. As she embarks on the next phase of her career, Katie is eager to broaden her industry experience, telling great stories in whatever form that may be.
