Jagoda Tłok is a Polish writer and director based in Glasgow. In her work she focuses on stories of women, especially their acts of rebellion and survival in various oppressive systems. She graduated from Screen Academy Scotland with her short Care, which screened at many BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals and received multiple awards, including three RTS awards. Jagoda is a part of GMAC Little Pictures filmmaking cohort of 23/24, with support of which she is developing her next short Code of Conduct. She is one of the founders and a Co-Director of ShortScape Film Festival.
Aodhan is a playwright and screenwriter from Glasgow who trained at the Rita and Burton School of Dramatic Writing at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. With an interest in telling authentic Scottish stories, they decided to move back home after graduating. Aodhan was a participant in the Playwrights’ Studio Scotland 2019/20 mentorship scheme, Dundee Rep Stripped 2022, and worked as a story-liner for BBC’s River City. Their debut play, Write-off, was selected for A Play, A Pie and A Pint’s 2023 Spring Season.
